Festive Cherry Bread

Ingredients & Directions


1 16-oz jar maraschino
-cherries
2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
1 c Flaked coconut
1 1/2 c Nuts; chopped
3 c Flour
1 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt

Dice cherries and reserve cherry juice. Beat sugar and eggs together. Add
cherries, coconut, and nuts. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add
flour mixture and cherry juice alternately to the egg mixture. Bake in 2
greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans at 350 degrees F.
for 60 to 70 minutes.
